Microbits and Measuring for Earthquakes

 

Sudden geological changes ... that can affect Earth's surface (ACSSU096) is listed in the primary curriculum as a year 6 topic. Amongst other possible events this is an opportunity to explore earthquakes.

Using the accelerometer on a Microbit you can be measure movement for an Earthquake Experiment such as the one created by Australian Earthscience
